Trek to Asherigad
Asherigad is one of the biggest fort situated North to Thane (Dahanu).
Surrounded by dense forest this outing would be a mix of trekking and excursion.
Asherigad is good for both, trekkers as it provides few steep climbs
and wild-life enthusiasts as its forest is still unexplored.

Most of the fort is in ruins and few of the things that proves this forts
existence are its bastions, water cisterns and stone-carved water-gutters.
The team which had visited the place before could not stop blabbering about how great the spot and its flora-fauna is, so its a treat for shutterbugs, wildlife-enthusiasts and trekkers...

Trek duration 18th Dec- 7am to 9pm (One day)
Charges: Rs. 450/-
* Travelling from Thane to Thane by private bus.
*Light snacks in Morning and in the evening.
*Equipment and Expertise charges.
Things to carry:
*2 lts of Water
*Packed lunch
*Decent footware (preferably shoes with proper grip)
*Comfortable clothing (which wont restrict your movement)
